top looks good

bottom valance section looks curved & pushed into place

Create a template out of cardboard & fit/trim until it fits exactly. (this is time consuming, but neccessary if you want it to look right).

Then, lay your adjusted template over the wire mesh & outline w/ a Sharpie marker (backside of mesh). Now, take a Dremel cutting disc to it & voila, perfect fitting mesh!

I know its the same, but i have never seen just the valence done without the top grill. And i did use a template but it was getting dark and cold so i had to cut it short(pun intended) in time, so in a future date i have to trim a few places to make the valance fit better.

Possiblilites:

1) 18-22 gauge galvanized wire (avail in a spool at h-ware store)
2) thick mono-filament fishing line
3) zip-ties (wire ties)

I chose option 1, but kinda wish I'd gone w/ option 2, because I think it would be least conspicuous (You can see the galvanized retainer wires heading toward the back if the sun hits them just right). I think the zip-ties are more visible, too, so that's why my vote's for #2.

(Just b sure to brush-up on your knot-tying abilities!)

The grill looks pretty good so far. That bottom piece is hard as **** to cut. I finally gave up and put mine behind the bars in the bumper. I used thin wire to hold it and best of all the piece doesn't have to be cut to a perfect shape.

That's $9.99 + shipping, right? Blow that off.

Go to your local home improvement center & pick up the required amount of "aluminized steel gutter mesh." Don't get the all aluminum stuff, as the aluminized steel is stronger & will resist indents from stone impacts, bending, etc, better than the aluminum version.

Should cost you anywhere from $4-$8, depending on how much you get.

Not a very good pic, please ignore the busted fog (unless you are selling one). I think that with the mesh in the top it is a bit much, mesh overload. I still haven't decided if I like the mesh in front of the bars beter, WaarrEagles looks pretty good. I think I will wait until I see one in person before I redo mine though.
