I wasn't planning to sell my Maxima but someone offered $20,000 for the car and I thought it was a good deal. Maybe I am wrong. I have
a SI, Cattman SS Y pipe, Greddy Catback, STS, NOS kit with 1 guage still in box, GXE and a 5 speed. Should I go for it and buy a slightly older Maxima? He also offered to do a trade for a tricked out GSR which I don't like or an old Maxima?

Dude 20K is about the best you'll ever get for a 2K GXE! Even if you drove the car off the lot at the dealer for two days it wouldn't be worth that amount let alone two years! Even with the mods I think it would still be way under 20K. I was going to sell my Max a few months ago and I used the NADA guide for my car with 19K miles and it came out to about $17,000 range.

Seriously, 20k for a two-year old car? Look up how much a 2k Max is worth in NADA or Kelly.
