alright well he may not be the youngest, Im 15 too

I practically own my max. My grandma bought it 2 or 3 weeks ago, but she hurt her leg trying to sit down and can never drive again (bad eyes too) and she said the car was all mine

nobody else but I have driven the car in all it's existense (well maybe did put the first 100 miles on it )

So i got 6 months to do stuff to it, i'm just gonna keep it garaged and get it past 1k miles to break it in before i get it. Maybe put in an intake or something, nothing major. just cosmetics for now.

Dude, my first car was an '84 Fiero. It too was a 4spd manual! What a POS. Luckily I was able to sell it before it burned up and got my first taste of power...an '85 Stang GT.

You guys are so lucky!!!

My first car was a 79 Bonneville, 4500lbs. of pure steel.

It originally came with a 5.7 v8 diesel engine but my parents thought it would be smart to put in a little v6 instead. Needless to say it would do 0-60 in about a minute and a half. It also had power brakes that would randomly lock up all four wheels when used. Nothing gets your heart pumping like sliding down the street at 45mph in the middle of traffic. The suspension felt like a full-wave waterbed and it was VERY difficult to control past 60mph.

I was lucky enough to move up to a stripped down Astro Minivan (aka. the Meat Wagon) with bald tires and a top speed of 90 miles per hour. It was so top heavy that at 60 to 70mph, I could weave back and forth on the road and get it up on two wheels. One time I almost lost it and it scared the **** out of the two people riding with me.

actually i think it is pretty pathetic that someone actually has the nerve to say 'own' when it was more leached off of a family member's suffering...specifically check the smilie at the end of this excerpt...

"I practically own my max. My grandma bought it 2 or 3 weeks ago, but she hurt her leg trying to sit down and can never drive again (bad eyes too) and she said the car was all mine..."

and others in the post...like being ****ed that Gramma (who rightfully bought and owns the car) had actually put 100 miles on 'HIS' car!!!!

Parasite.

At 15 I had a shiny, blue Motobecane 12-speed touring bike. I'm pretty sure I could have outrun your Tercel.

You guys who got a car at 15 are lucky...I didn't get a car until I was 18 (about 6 years ago) and it was a used 84 V6 ugly gray Cutlass Supreme. It rode pretty cool but it was an ugly duckling...it was stolen from my old apartment parking lot and later found by CHP, dead from a crapped out engine right before the Winton exit (Southland Mall).

When I was 15 I had a Yamaha RD-5

two stroke 350cc rice burner that would pull the sweetest wheelies you can imagine -and it was all mine.
Damn, I miss that bike...

Anybody who is given a car is on the lucky side of the coin in my opinion...regardless of what a POS it is.
