Which wheel and why?

If by chance your wheel you own is called out, please don't be offended.

I'm still on stock 15's so plenty of you will hate my wheels/covers.

Personally, I hate to see chromed out wheels on a Max unless its all black. My personal preference is a 5 spoke chrome wheel if it goes on a Max. I can't stand those space age looking wheels with the swirl type designs like:

or anything similar.

I see some Maximas with ugly wheels around the neighborhood and it makes me sick to look at them.

I hate 99% of aftermarket wheels, I had to settle for the lesser of the evil's I used to love chrome wheels but now that I have some nice none chrome wheels I don't miss them anymore. I think chrome wheels look good on luxury car's like Lexus, MB and black I30's.

Anything with only 3 spokes like an old Borbet Type O. Since some people mentioned the teddy bears I guess you then have to throw in the Daisey's too!
I'll also add a vote for any swirly, chromey pimp-mobile-lookin' things too.

Any wheel that isn't wide enough to properly support the tire that's running on it.

(Oh my GAWD! There he goes again . . . )

p.s. I have Mille Miglia's but they also make F*ckin Sunflower rims, if I saw them on a car I would go crazy.

Yes those stup!d chrome wheels that have little circles or stupid designs cut into them they look like giant $25.00 hubcaps or sanddollars. That totally defeat the purpose of getting a wheel, should just leave the stock hubcaps if thats the case!!!
Also chrome is awesome but if you dont clean it will get little black dots and there goes the nice wheel.

Damn, what was that guy thinking. That looks horrible. Where's the barf smiley?

Anyways, I really only like 5 or 6 spoke wheels. I also like wheels like SSR GT1s or Momo Arrows w/ 10-spokes, but technically they are 5-spoke to me. I'm not a big fan at all of the swirly chrome rims.

Later,
-Nick

Anything bigger than 18 inches (unless it's a touring car) >>

and chrome on a rim is probably the most car devalue-ing thing anyone could possibly do. There's this dude in my apartment building who drives a sweet 2001 325i...only problem, chrome Momo rims that stick out of the wheel wells by about 2 inches.

That is the worse style for any car on this planet and I don't understand it. If anyone wants to do this to a car, sell the car first.

I've seen this in the midwest too. First, its bad for your suspension, second, it looks very stupid and third, it looks very stupid.

...chrome has no place on wheels.

My vote for the manufacturer with the fugliest wheels is...

Arelli - not only is every wheel they sell in chrome, you also have a choice of nice, shiny gold too!!! They even have styles in gold AND chrome. And just in case you needed another reason to believe that these folks have no taste and/or class, one of their wheel styles is called the "Bling Bling".

Arelli is followed closely by Kronix - manufacturers of a massive collection of three (yes, 3!!!) wheel styles. They have a wheel called the "Bio Hazard" (chrome, of course) that does indeed, look like a biohazard warning. The other two styles are just as much of a visual treat.

Both of these companies have very "snazzy" websites - check them out:

Chrome and knockoffs. I bought stock SE wheels when I was in the market because I couldn't afford good wheels. I could have bought ADRs or something but I'd rather have Nissan wheels than knockoffs that I wouldn't be sure of the quality. Just my opinion.

What's the proper name for this particular crime again? I hate having to always describe it to my friends when I see it and am sputtering/laughing/describing at the same time.

You know, like the "lowrider look" and the "dubs look" and the "deep dish look". What's this?
