Are there any wheels you people hate to see on a Maxima???
Well, I don't like anything gunmetal they look like silver rims covered in brake dust & dirt. I also don't like white rims, completely rice IMO. I pefer silver in 17s thru 19s. Chrome is okay, I don't like it for me but I can't say I don't like at all.
I'm surprised no one mentioned the rims where the chrome keep spinnin'
I personally don't like white rims either but thats just my opinion. I think the best rims out there belong to guys with 2000-2001 SE's, I like my stock 5 spokes, but those rims are cool

I used to hate chrome as well and about 95% of the chrome out there is ghetto chrome. Having said that I have seen some really really really nice chrome wheels some 18"s and some dubs. Nice HQ stuff not the chrome dipped crap.
i hate to see Arelli, Kronix, Lexani ghetto chrome. i cant stand the Dayton, Luxor, Player any-spoke wheels on a Maxima. Despite the fact that i have Rota Stage 5', i hate any of the Volk AV3 knock offs. (thats why i'm getting new wheels)
wheels that are not the right offset for your car baffle me, why do it?
chrome is nice when tastfully done. 19's and 20's are ok just dont buy the wrong tire size. 215/35zr18 will not do any justice to your fender gap, ride comfort or pocket (after you blown a couple of tires)
just say no to the Kronix and Lexani.

I agree with most things said.
I don't care for a lot of style of rims. But if done right, most rims can be made to look at least decent with the car. It depends on colors, ride height, tire profile, and the over all look one is going for. Even rims I really like just don't look good on some rides.
That's pretty vague, but you know what I am getting at.
The only thing I hate is most American Racing style steel rims, Pepboy & Autozone wheels that people buy because they don't have the money to do it right so they just buy something. Usually stock looks better than trying to go the cheap rout.
Also rims that cost more than the car they are on. Makes no sense.

No offense to those that have these, but I don't like:
-rims with more than 10 spokes.
-chrome wheels with more than 10 spokes
-daytons
-gold or bronze
-3 spoke
-chrome rims where the whole surface of the rim is covered, with almost no space free.

whoa, that almost exactly how i am, but recently i have started to like gold/bronze wheels, i think i like how it gives a nice distinct look.
3 spoked wheels are cheesy
Wheels that have little holes...I don't like it if they don't show the brakes
Wheels with directional spokes
In general I don't like chrome...there are exceptions though

Wheels I hate to see on a Max is the ones that are on my car now. They're acceptable but I rather have something else. Jeez so much hate in this thread. Especially for chrome. Don't be offended chrome peeps, it's about what you like, not them.

Also chrome is awesome but if you dont clean it will get little black dots and there goes the nice wheel.
