For those of you who have tinted your windows:

What looks best on a Max? Sometimes I like the tinted look and sometimes I don't. Any comments here?

What tint level did you use? How do you like it? More importantly how much did it run you?

One of the reasons I'm considering tinting is to ward away car thieves, or does this attract them?

So many question, so little gas money.

The Max definitely looks better with tinted windows. I prefer 20% all around. This is dark enough so that you really cant see in the car but yet it is very visible to see out of at night. I'm pretty sure that most tint jobs run around $200 bucks for a 4 door. The place that does it here offers lifetime warranties so its worth it. As far as people breakin into the car. I would imagine that a tinted car would be less likely to be breakin into. I guess it all depends on where you live.

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.

My Tint is as dark as you can go here in Nebraska 20% back 35% front and my sunstrip is 20%. It looks ok, but still wish it was darker. It only cost me $160 with the lifetime warranty but it's hell on my window regulator motors.

I guess it all depends on the brands of tint that you use. I know that the tint on my car seems a lot darker than fast4en's. I guess just go to the shop and they can probably send you some sample's. Usually the legal tint is never dark enough so I would go darker if they will do it. Most places will, and as long as your windows dont look like their painted black you shouldn't have trouble with cops.

my tint is about 15% and it looks really good. I wanted to go with limo tint 5% but it does get hard to see out of at night (plus the guy who tinted them didn't have it).it cost me about $120.you also have to remember that with most maximas the rear windows are darker than the front. use limo tint @ about 20% or lower give that dark tint but it still pretty light to see out of. theres also some tint called black ice wich is kinda trippy..its about 20% dark but when the sun hits it it gives a rainbow glitter affect.I wouldn't use it but it is kinda trippy...

I wish I knew where my windows were done, cuz that lifetime warranty would come in GREAT. I believe they were done in Texas, where the car was originally owned. They look horrible, there purpling, and the back window is bubbling.
I would just go ahead and have them redone, but Ive heard its really spendy to have it taken off. Especially with the rear defrost.
I think the classiest looking tint Ive ever seen is the white max, with tan leather or cloth, with the brown tinted windows..same goes for the legend.
But with my car, white with black leather, Black tint looks best, NOT PURPLE LMFAO!
