What to buy??

I seem to have blown myself off the forum.....
The question I ask of all is what do you all think is the very best choice between 1997 to 2001?? I do want the most features but horsepower is NOT my main concern. The least amount of problems would be appealing and I would hope to find a light colored exterior and interior. Whadda you all think?? I will appreciate ALL comments.

since you did post in the 4th gen forum, you're gonna get a lot of biased answers towards the 97, including mine

i love my 97, wouldn't trade it in for a 5th gen, 'cept maybe the 2k2 6-speed, but that's not gonna happen...i like the looks of the 97-99 better than the 5th gen cars, especially the rear...plus, the extra HP in the 2k1 is offset by the added weight, so not really much power increase there...i believe the 4th gen has more aftermarket support, even though it really may not be that much

hope i helped

As far as features, interior wise, the GLE has the most as a model. Exterior features goes to the SE model for the most part eventhough any model can be made to look like the SE. As for money, the GXE is going to be the cheapest model compared to the SE and GLE of the same year. Any 4th gen. year is going to do great. Your budget will basically dictate the year which you choose.
