Intake resignator removal??

Hey, ok I have searched and maybe I wasnt typing in the right words or I just cant find it but how exactly would you remove the intake resignator? I know it doesnt add any power I just wanna here what it sounds like and is it possible to remove it without cutting anything so you can put it back on? I have a 90 Maxima SE Thanks for the help.

When's your car going be fixed? I haven't started looking for those injectors yet b/c finals and all. For some reason, if I let my car sit idling for a minite or two before I turn it off, it doesn't screw up when I turn it back on.

Re: DA-Max

well I ordered the injector on Tuesday, so they should be here early next week I'm hoping....I think after next week I'll actually get to do them though,I have finals the week after next so this coming week is gonna be CRAM TIME, no time to mess with the car!!!

hmmmmm, you're lucky if its working like that, with mine you could let it sit for hours and it would be the same rough idle, etc.....have you decided what you're going to do?? and did you try that mehtod I told you about to find the "bad" cylinder??

ok, first off i'm gonna assume you know where and what the resonator is. second off, i'll tell you i noticed no difference in power or sound.

ok, all you do is pretty much pull the bolts that hold the bottom of the resonator, and then unclamp the top of it off the intake hose. then you need to find something to plug the gaping hole. In my case, a jar lid (i know wierd huh) fit perfectly.

I haven't got to my car yet, but when I get home, it's spring cleaning and repair time!!!! Yehhaaaaa!
