infintiblast - Dynolab in marietta. 50.00 three pulls.

ben -

Soon2bemaxed - yeah on the dyno there is no wind resistance so he really went 170mph and it was still pulling but the dyno guy made him tap out.

cars werent designed to go 170 with out moving. probaly would have continued to 190. plus its a safety issue.

imagine if the things that hold the car from the back were to let go and he would've started pilling out at 170mph, that would be interesting to see

yeah Ian that is where the automatic shifts at. The jolt to the dyno wheels are just that, jolts/spikes , so they are not any real number.

I did this all gear pull before I get my VI from you

I will do another one in july with the VI and see what the numbers say.

Soon2BMaxed-
I was really going 174 MPH or so. And my/your car was not built to go that fast. So from the axle to the wheel bearings were put to the ULTIMATE test as far as speed goes.

The reason the dyno guy stopped me is because I am insane. No really I am, I sometimes have a problem of not knowing when to quit. I was willing to push my car to redline or the speed limit of the dyno. (which was 200 MPH)

BTW I was at about 6000 RPMS, when I passed 150 the few people in the room started moving away from the car.

jamiecbr600 was the camera man, he was a little nervous as well, he told me afterwards. If my car would have bronken loose off the dyno I would be dead and I would have killed at least 1 other person.

But I really wanted to know the limit of my maxima. I have always heard there is no speed limit and I have pushed past 140 MPH on the road but I found this as the safest option.

Also ( man I run my fingers allot )there is no wind resistance or weight of the car or traffic/cops so again, MY CAR WILL NOT go 170+ MPH on the road.

No maxima , unless aided by NOS/TURBO/Supercharger will go over 165 MPH on the road.

What an exhilirating feeling, whacha running on your Max again? Please, details.

Also, your Max is auto? What did you do to your tranny? Also, how fast have you been able to take your Max out on the highway?

mods are in my profile, but to save you time since you did not check, CAI, y-pipe, hi flow cat, cat back exhaust, muffler

Mods done to MY BRAIN, killed most working brain cells

I have an auto, nothing done to the tranny.

Unknown speed on the highway, speedo was about 1/4-1/2 inch past 140 and it is just a big gap after 140 on the 4th gen

Try www.bags533.com and scroll to the bottom of the page 4 videos.. try the last one first.

Interesting. My HP was somewhat similar on my Dyno, but my peaks from tranny shift weren't anywhere close to yours. They were more like 190 than 250.

You done went and got me a smaller bike too....wasn't it enough the embarrassment of an anemic dyno run enough...

Anyway, I was nervous. I was taking the video and I was in the line of fire if the straps broke loose. The guy told him to shut down because of several reasons. In that dyno, our cars go in backwards as it's set up for rear drive cars, so we shoot our exhaust and noise right into the shop. He also was worried bags would not back out of it, which he probably wasn't going to otherwise. Mr. Bags is infamous for pushing the limits....

sorry my bad 900.. BTW

Ian- you were about 20 +/- Hp lower than I so with the spikes for the tranny I guess it was just more loss on that dyno, I think
