What are your thoughts on these wheels? Which one is lighter, more durable etc.? Any information would be helpful? BTW, I'm looking at getting 17s. Thanks.

The 5ZR would probably be lighter->

I had 18" Konig Moonsoon before my 5Zigen GT8. The Konig were pretty good quality, but heavy. The paint and finish is great and I never had any problems with it. They are just too popular and heavy. Most Konigs are heavy. There are so many cars with them running around I had to get rid of mine. The 5Zigen GT8 has horrible paint. There are drips and runs everywhere. One thing about 5zigen is that their higher end rims are made in Japan, the rest are made in Taiwan or other parts of Asia. I know the 18" two piece 5ZR are made in Japan, but I don't know about the one piece 17" 5ZR.

I'm not sure. It feels lighter than the Monsoon. I think it's about 40lbs.

The GT8 is not a real 5Zigen wheel. They labeled it as 5Zigen wheels. Real 5Zigen wheels have their labels in the inside of the wheels. Look inside next time you'll either see some other company name or you won't see 5Zigen label in there. As for the 5ZR, these are high quality forged wheels. And they are REAL 5Zigen.

First of all, the 17" 5ZR 1piece doesn't come in the right offset for the maxima. Only the 3piece 18" wheels come in the right size. These are very high quality forged wheels. All of the 5Zigen wheels are high quality and lightweight. The GT8 wheels that 1Max2Nv is talking about are fake 5Zigen wheels. They are labeled as 5Zigen but the real ones have labels inside the wheels. I can get you a good price for the 5ZR if you're interested. Goto autoimaging.com. Email me if your interested.
