I am in need of help here. I do not know whether to purchase the Borbet Type E 17x8 rim or the Konig Monsoon 17x8 rim. I am taking an online poll, lol, and no hand counting is allowed lol. Thanks guys

The quality of the Borbet rims are much better than Konigs.
Not to mention it has a much cleaner look to it.

Personally, I think Borbets look better. I'm probably getting them next summer. Also I've heard that Monsoons are heavier than type E.

I gotta agree

I was between the Monsoons and the type E's, but I got a great deal on the Monsoons. Also I perfer the look of the monsoons....the type E's look too close to stock to me...I wanted something a little different.

Either way they are both great wheels!

Wheel weights:

The Borbet type E's and the Monsoons are the same weight. Go for what style you like better and where you can get the best deal.
Check this site out for the Monsoons:

Trust me, I know!

I just put the wheels on about a month ago, and they are coming off next week in favor of snow tires on my stock GXE wheels.

I plan on buying springs for it come the end of the winter, before I put these back on.
