Grinding in Reverse

For the past week every time I back up I hear a loud grinding noise comming from the rear of my car. Any input? Oh and BTW my rear Calipers/rotor/pads are less then 2 months old

i got stuck in reverse today...happens about once a month. happens only when i give it gas when in reverse...sucks when trying to back up uphill...
yeah, the tranny made a grinding noise and that's when i got stuck in reverse.
but if you're saying the noise is from the back, then maybe it's your brakes. I'm not sure how maximas adjust their brakes. while stopped, pull your ebrake up hard. and do a few 60mph -> stop using moderate pressure (don't lock up!)

you're not alone, my max grinds really hard when i first start the car, especially if it's cold or wet outside. lots of people say they have this prob, maybe they need to recall and fix it, cause it's embarassing to back up. i just replace all my C/R/P about 3 months ago.

Grinding when it first goes into gear? Every standard I've ever driven has done that except for a totally sick (and VERY street-illegal) Trans-Am.... I think I didn't notice because the tires chirped giong into gear (Hard clutch+ bad knee=tough stuff)
