Front Sway Bar??

I just installed my Addco RSB, and its nice and tight, and makes it feel like im driving a smaller car, i love it!
I was wondering if the maxima comes with a stock front sway bar, or if I could order one for it.

Hello Smokin.First I want to ask how hard was the install on your Addco RSB or how much did you pay to have it installed.Second is no,there is not a FSTB on the max and yes you can order one and intsall it yourself.I got mine from courtesynissan.com and it was 93 shipped.Has nice red endplates and chrome cross bar with "COURTESY NISSAN" in white letters. If you check the group deals I think you can get one for 60.00 shipped but its a different make. There all the same pretty much, some look better than others but they all perform the same way.Well good luck and the info on your RSB would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

i think hes asking about a anti sway bar for the front, not a strut brace. i havent heard of anyone that produces an aftermarket one, but there is a stock one on there now. im sure it could be improved upon but i dont know anyone that sells a fsb.b as far as the install of the addco rsb, its not real tough. i backed my car up on ramps and finished it within 30 mins. its nice to have a friend support the bar because its hard to balance it while trying to bolt it down.

I purchased the RSB through the groupbuy for $115. I installed it myself, I was very simple.. I didnt even look at the manufature's instructions, I printed off the how-to on nissanx.com, browesed over it and installed it without looking back. Its like a puzzle all the pieces have a purpose, and its obvious where they go. It took about 30-45 to install, im sure it can be done quicker, but I only got 5 hours of sleep last night because I went to a club, and so I got up early to install it an hour before I went to work.

You said the front sway bar is sold at courtesynissan? are you sure its not the front tower bar? because I have one on order.
Thanks

if its from courtesy, its the strut brace. that gets confussed as a sway bar from time to time.

The Max has a massive front sway bar stock, this is part of why the aftermarket rear sway bar is such an improvement - not just limiting roll, but improving balance. There are a few front strut braces available, but so far I have not seen any mention anywhere of an aftermarket front anti-sway bar.

Well with the FSB on now, the back is so nice that it makes the front almost seem sloppy. Hopefully my FSTB will help that.

FSTB will help keep the towers from flexing. Here's the RSB installation write-up:

Hm, the RSB GD sounds like a sweet deal at $115... could be my next mod. Or maybe AE rear valence?

Hehe... clubbing all night eh?... ever get home @ 8am after a night of club-hopping?... can anyone say "Night at the Roxberry?" What is love?...

Could this FSB be what you're looking for? Or is it a missprint?

Yes I agree, the sway bar makes a huge differance in controlling body roll during hard cornering! Very easy to install. Well worth the money.

has to be a missprint, because when i did my suspension, i asked my STILLEN rep about that, when i was ordering my suspension i told him i wanted everything, he sold me FSTB (Front Strut Tower Brace) RSTB (Rear Strut Tower Brace) and RSB (Rear Sway Bar) i was told that the RSB matched our exisiting front ones already that came with the car.

I traded my tails for the tinted ones off a 2001 SE, Just thought they looked better, espicially with my dark tinted rear window. The 2k1 muffler in my opinion is much better looking, just my preference.
Check out my custom gages on my profile, I just added them! I'm still trying to get my photo's smaller on my signature, so I can post all 3. Any advice?

Why would you switch your muffler, to a 2K1. The 2K2 is the best stock muffler made. Its the one used in the skyline..
