i'm gonna try and get a used 2k2 intake manifold for myself to polish the outside and maybe have it extrude honed and then DPI nitrous. i was talking with some other crazy person with a 97 max and he's like well you'll have an extra now, do an exchange and have whatever your customers want done to it done. so i'm here to gauge interest, extrude hone lists a 2 piece intake manifold for a 6cyl aluminum at $675.00 and then we would do the outside polish for 300. you can get one or both, yoru choice, that's not the final pricing but it should be close. also if you really want i might consider tapping for dpi nitrous but i'm sure not anyone else but me is crazy enough.

What's involved with extrude honing?

 

If I saw proven gains I would be very interested in a extrude honed intake. It's to much money for me to test to see if it works or not.

 

i'm pretty sure i'm gonna do it, i figured more people would be interested in no down time or work on having it full polished on the outside. i need one for DPI anyway and i can write it off. i would like to get it extrude honed, we'll see.

 

I would just buy one from the dealer. It would take you forever to find a 2k2 intake manifold. Junk yards usually do not like to part out newer motor.
