I was just checking a link in my Oil Analysis Spreadsheet about the ATF replacement service from Penske, and noticed the URL was gone. I then went to penskeautocenter.com and saw a notice of its operations ceasing.


Anyone seen their local Penske Auto Center boarded up. I guess its affiliation with K-Mart didn't help them any......

 

Wow... I haven't seen one of those in a LONG time.... I'm sure it didn't help it one bit...

I did notice last weekend the Kmart closed their auto center.

 

I knew Kmart had filed Chapter 11 and were closing a bunch of stores but if my foggy memory serves me correctly I believe the court ordered them to leave the AutoCenters open to accomodate warrenty and such...I am not 100% sure though.

There are links in the Oil Analysis spreadsheet that link to descriptions and a coupon of the ATF replacement service that they offer and I have had good expereiences with. So I'm trying to decide whether I should take the link/reference to that shop down. I stated this in the first post in the thread. You should read that instead of Sprint's spamming.
