Drained my Optima Yellow Top today...Should I be worried?
Hey guys,
I accidently left my parking lights and fog lights on all day today at school from about 7:30AM until 2:30PM. The Optima was completely dead! Luckily I had my jumper cables and a friend who was willing to jump me. The car started right up, but should I worry about charging it or anything?
Thanks,
-Nick

I bought one because I'm going to be adding a stereo soon. I wasn't planning on buying it until I got the stereo, but my OEM battery went dead and I needed a replacement. Since I knew I was getting the stereo, I just went ahead and bought the Optima.

Okay, so why the optima vs just another battery?

I have a lifetime warranty on the Sears Gold battery and works great with my 750W sound system, HID's, and other gadgets that never turn off when I shut the car down. Hell with the marketing schemes.
That's strange
My yellow top has a reserve. I left my trunk open for a few days when I was working on my brakes. My battery was pretty much drained...the power antenna struggled to go up. I turn the key and it cranked without any problems. Then I drove the car for about 30 minute (18 miles) and my battery was been fine since.

BTW, it's fine now. I did a few errands tonight and it started fine.
