Ok, I am sure this has been asked many a time...but I will ask again anyway because of the frustration level I feel. Can someone guide me in the right direction? I am trying to get a carbon fiber hood for my 2002 SE. Who are the common makers of these things? Who can I bribe to make me the only one in the country if they don't exist yet? Any guidance that can be provided would be much appreciated. If I haven't said this before...the paint on the Maxima sucks. I hit a moth the other day while driving and received 4 chips in the hood for the effort.

 

I think IceY2k1 is the man to seek out. I think he already has a maker lined up. He just needs a few more ppl to make a order for 10 -15.

Fiber Images is the company that will make our hoods as long as we come up with 11 buyers. The hoods are top of the line and will run for $550 +s&H. Email me your info if anyone is interested...Thanks guys. By the way we have about 7 buyers already, almost there

i called the body shop on monday. he said "its pretty much done. we're just waiting on some small parts. hopefully we'll have it for you by the middle or end of the week"
