Anyone own WET OKOLE waterproof seatcovers?

Has anyone tried these out? I frequent the shore during the summer, and I would like to protect my leather seats. Is it OK to use these over leather, or will it wear unevenly? Also, will they completely protect my seats from saltwater? Here's the link:

WET OKOLE SEATCOVERS

The fit looks very nice on the Max!

Thanks,
G

Didn't I reply to you in another thread or is it just deja who? Yes they will protect salt water from your seats if you get the totally custom ones which run about 100 bones each are totally water proof from the head rests to the bottom of your okole! I used to surf a lot and get in soaking wet....and just for kicks checked my seats for dampness underneath the cover and not a single drop. They make one for the 2k-2k1 with side air bags but have no clue about the 2k2's. I bought my covers in summer of 2000 and its still like new. Oh yeah did I mention that I live in Hawaii. I think we have one of the saltiest(is that a word) waters here.

I think you also answered my question in a thread someone else started. Sounds like a good investment! Thanks for your help Circo!
It must suck to pay extra S&H for mods to Hawai...

And yes, "saltiest" is a word

IT REALLY SUCKS TO PAY EXTRA for S&H! Everytime there is a special on a part I have to read the fine print for shipping included only to 48 states. It sucks! Somehow Tirerack got around this problem cuz my shipping on all 4 rims & tires was 150 for FEDEX 2day.

I don't know about that slickismax? Wetokole is sort of a small Hawaii company. For some odd reason its made on the mainland.
