I just replaced my front speakers in my 90 with some Cerwin-Vegas and i did this right after a big rain, and when i removed the factory bose boxes the backs were soaking wet! This got me worried...anyone done anything clever to keep their speakers dry? I saw the 'waterproof foam baffels' in crutchfield that may work but just wondering if anyone else may have a different/better way.

It sounds like you have a leak that needs to be fixed. There shouldn't ever be water inside of the doors. That's bad for a lot of reasons. Do all of the doors leak, or just one? Check the rear doors, too.

there was water in both the front ones, i duno about the back doors tho iv neveer had em apart. In the doors, the factory bose speakers were safe from rain due to their box, which had sealant where it mounted to the door to seal it between the back and front.
