http://www.carparts.com DOES suck!!!!

After hearing all the negative comments today about them i decided to give a call to check on the status of my order.
Found out a couple things that made me cancel my order ASAP!

#1) Approximate Delivery Date: December 20th!!
Thats almost a full month from order date + from what i'm hearing i probably wouldnt even get it by then!

#2) Turns out that the part numbers they gave me were for 2 Maxima fronts & 2 Accord fronts...Thats 4 fronts!!

I guess it's true that you dont save $$ in the long run when dealing with them (even w/ the 33% off coupon) cuz they always screw up.

OK...now WHO wants to sell me some shocks? coilovers?

I know it's risky . . .

But I'm still hangin' in there with my Carparts.com order. After all, how badly can they manage to screw up an order for 6 cases of motor oil?

My projected ship date is 12/10. If they haven't shipped by then, I'll cancel the order.

Nah, they don't suck....

You just have to know EXACTLY what you want and order it on a website without human interaction.

Usually, there's a good chance you will get what you want....

I'm 3 for 3 thus far with them.....

Do i need to bust out the Ode to Carparts.com Poem?

well... lately, they've been getting better, electronically. but still, human interaction is just plain sad.
its like monkeys on the telephone.

"hi, i'd like to order clear head light covers?"
"oo oo oo. oo oo oo. ooo oo"
"excuse me?"
"oo oo oo oo oo oo"
"nevermind *click*"
"oo?"

Yeah, that's difficult to get around for 5th geners -->

unless you call got rice? or Stillen to get actual part numbers.....

Like Chebosto said, electronic is fine while their human support doesn't even match a monkey.

I'd like to hear Chebosto's Ode to Carparts.com!

Hey 4DSC, try shox.com. I think their prices will be close and they are supposedly more reliable. I ordered my stuff from them. Good Luck.

i probably will end up buying my shocks from RD (shox.com)..
cuz i bought my Tokico Illumina's (for my civic) there...
they delivered as promised, on time, w/ decent prices...
the ONLY reason i was gonna go thru carparts was because i had the 33% off discount which would have saved me about $80 over what shox.com & stillen both charge ($319+shipping)

i still dunno what i'm gonna do about my suspension...
prolly just save up for the cattman coilovers...

ANYONE WANT MY EIBACH PROKIT????
