5 spd Conversion Vs. Buy new Max w/ 5 spd?

So, I'm at a point where I've decided that I just can't live without a 5 speed any more. I feel like I have this incredible car, but I can't utilize its full potential. I need a manual tranny. The question is, do I want to do a 5 speed conversion or do I want to sell the car and buy a new one with a 5 speed?

According to Edmunds, my car is worth $13,984 based on its options, milage, and condition: Black on Grey cloth 98' SE Auto (65K miles) w/ Bose, sunroof, keyless entry / alarm, and power driver's seat. The car is in EXCELLENT condition -- almost a perfect interior, and only a couple dings and a scratch on the exterior. Can I really get $13,984 for the car? Is that a realistic expectation?

I also have to take into consideration the mods I've done to the car thus far, which you can see in my sig. All the modifications can be easily taken off and the car returned to stock.

What do you guys think -- should I do the conversion or get a new ride? I'd be especially interested to hear from those who have been in the same situation.

Looks like the only mod that is going to take some time removing would be your Eibachs, and that's only a few hours if you have some help.

I vote buy a 5-speed Max.

Buy a 5 speed, switch the mods, and you'll save yourself some time and headaches while having a true 5 speed.
