Ask him to put it in writing with a $100.00 performance guarntee. The NGK Laser Platinum Plug PFR5G-11 is the only one that I will put in my Maxima. Our engine is designed to use a double platinum plug which the NGK is!

Went to the speedshop where I've gotten all mods for my car and previous cars. The owner recommneded NGK plugs, the guy doesn't even carry them, and suggested that those work best with our engines.

Can we use the Splitfire Platinums or the Bosch Platinum +4's? I had the +4's in my '93 Hardbody and it ran fine.

He suggested stock NGK-R's. They should run you about $10 a piece. Should be able to get them at AutoZone or other local auto parts.

They should work okay in your 93 Maxima , however the Maximas with the distributor less ignition would get poor performance from the Bosch plugs. The confusion is my fault for not clarifying the vintage of the Maxima and type of ignition.

Get the NGK Laser Platinum Plugs, PFR5G-11 and you will be pleased with the results. They are the OEM Plug your Maxima came with and it is the only one I'll use in mine. If your not happy with them I'll send you a Happy Meal Gift Certificate from McDonalds. How can you lose?

Call Dave Burnette for the plugs (look for his contact info in the Parts List).
