INSTALLED my RSB today...definitely see difference
the fstb makes a nice difference when making turns but the rsb does wonders...first off i can't believe the parts for the addco rsb are not accurate...u gotta do a lot of bending and all just to get things to fit but me and my friend tightened everything up to the max...so anyway, here's what i felt
before i only had fstb so i can feel back swaying around and now that i have rsb i can feel front swaying around more...the back sticks to the ground....
i was coming home from my boys house and before i could do 65 to max 70 on the high way through heavy angles and and curves but i was doing 90 and hitting these same curves with ease...i kept looking for spots to test but everytime i tried to test rsb by going fast and making quick turn without pressing gas, the rsb would make it so good of a turn that i wouldn't be satisfied with the test...so i went for one last test...
i hit like 40 mph and did this like 95 degree turn and the rsb did something i have never seen before...instead of my tires making the screech sound and making this like diesel truck turn (full back swaying) my car like gripped the ground amazingly and my tires like turned side ways...i dont' know how to explain it..it's like they made this real ugly sound like they resisted so hard to turn...like my tires stayed straight and went sideways type of thing....definitely something different...nonetheless i'm definitely pleased with the rsb...
*something happened to my car*
not that dangerous though, well when i finished installed rsb, i had lifted the car up on back and when i got back in it felt higher than before....i could get in and out much easier....my friend told me it was probably because air got back into the struts since they were lifted and no pressure from ground...has anyone else experienced this when lifting only certain half of car? not a 1/4 part but half...and i can see it's slowly getting back to normal but thats strange....
also those that have rsb, did u tighten to max cause that's what i did...i know fstb u not supposed to but i did for rsb...

Damn! Sounds like you took your turn so hard that one rear tire lifted up! The RSB will do that. I remember when I 1st heard about the RSB, I saw a PIC of a 95-96 MAxima, I think it was Stillen Maxima's old web site, it was taking a hard corner and one of the rear wheels was hanging in the air. I was like "gotta get that rsb"
Now, get that suspension to SE specs or better! GLEs' are just too soft for tough riding.

when me and my boy installed the rsb we tightened everything to the max...but warning though, like i said, you gotta do a few bendin with the screws and we even had to spread out two of the clamps so everything would fit properly...that's with addco...i don't know if stillen is any different but if it's a 50+ difference in price i would just stay wit addco unless u want adjustable....
and yes i plan on getting the kyb agx sooner or later...a lot of my closest friends here say that the car feels like a new ride when u get those shocks/struts

today i'm driving and i almost made a mistake and missed this street, made a hard right and my car made that sound again, lol...it beats the errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound but scares me sometiems as if i'm about to flip or something...but it definitely grips the ground....in a way i feel like my car is faster now...maybe it's my imagination or the fact that i dont' have to hold the brake anymore when making local turns

Get the Stillen RSB, it fits perfectly, no bending of anything, good quality piece. Bolts all line up right, clamps go on perfectly.
For twice the price of the ADDCO?? I'll take the ADDCO. So we might have to bend some pieces. Bending pieces put >$120 back into my pocket.

for anyone else, if you have fitment issues try matching up the bolts/brackets before you install because one may fit better than another. When i did mine, only one of the pairs of bolts/plates required any modification, and that was just like a 2mm squeeze...

Junk, huh? Take a look at the Stillen. The bar is hollow. The ADDCO is a solid bar.
Sometimes you get what you pay for, other times, you pay too much.
Also, I've put my ADDCO on and completely forgotten about it. Never had to adjust it, lubricate it, nothing.

Well you can put a junk piece on your car that doesn't fit right, or you can get one that fits right and looks nice. I paid $190 for my Stillen RSB brand new, I'd say it was worth every penny.

Yes, junk. If you buy something designed to fit your car, it should fit. If I take a mod out of the box, and I have to fix it or modify it to get it to fit my car, even though it is supposedly designed for my car, then no, I do not consider it a quality piece.
I do not HAVE TO adjust or lubricate my bar, but I can adjust it if I choose too. Yes the bar is hollow, but my car still feels tighter than my friend's Addco on harsh turns.
If you are bending things while putting on the Addco RSB, you're doing something wrong.
Only on select late 99 Maximas should there be a slight problem putting on the Addco RSB. Late 99 Maximas were more similar to 5th gen with a wider frame and therefore, the brackets were a little small.
And I'm not sure, but I think Addco might have addressed this issue already.
Put on several RSBs, 2 on a 4th gen with no problems and three on 5th gens and needed to bend the brackets a little, but nothing major.

the pieces we had were not fitting each other, not the car...just trying to put the C type screw into the clamp thing and all was giving problems...when i say i had to bend parts, it wasn't to fit the car, it was to fit other parts given in the box for installation...
clee, your right, the RSB fit perfectly on my 95 nissan maxima GLE...it was putting parts of the rsb together that made installation a little closer to hell

But have to bend anything?? I dont think so... If your talking about useing the wrong flat plates with the c clamps i understand that. I had them reversed (the flat plates) switched them and all was/is well.
FITS PERFECTLY
IMHO a better bar then the stillen...

I'd agree with the ADDCO instructions not very good and photocopied way to manny times. I used the directions from here or maximadriver cant remember.

When I put my RSB on, all the pieces fit, I did not have to bend anything. But I did anyways because I wanted the connections to be snug and tight as Sh$%#$T!
