Lucky isn't the word. I'm happy to hear that she's is ok, but to not give up the car and you have your child with you is dumb if you ask me. The car is insured, she can get another one, her baby is another question. If she wants to play big and bad and if she were by herself that's something else all together. She should have just given up the keys and then ran. But i hate carjackers, they used to car jack people around here (balitimore and d.c) like everyday it seemed like at one time. It's not as bad as it used to be, but they are still out there and they usually don't take no for an answer. To the rest of you max owners, if they ask for the keys, give them up please and let them be on there way. The car and the mods can all be replaced, but not you guys.......Just my two cent.......

STay safe out there FAM, ONE!!

There was a quote from an episode of Law and Order recently when a similar thing happened except the person died...

Cop 1 - "When will people learn to just give up the keys...a car is not worth their life."

Cop 2 - "Spoken like a true man who has never owned a Jag."

Lol...i loved that line.

He couldn't take the car because she still had the keys. Apparently wasn't a professional.

I woulda just given the car up, that was totally not worth it. They would have found the car later or even caught the guy. She's lucky the bullet didn't hit her somewhere else where it would be more harmful. Gotta be careful in New York, especially East New York

Guys, you are missing the point! She didn't give up her car because its a MAXIMA and she loves it as much as her dear life!

Anyhow at least she will be okay and hopefully that @ss gets a life sentence or two behind bars.

my keys would be outta my hand in a split second...my max, no matter how valuable it is to me, will never be valuable enough to try and fight off armed carjackers

Why people carjack is beyond me. Can't you pick a car that doesn't have a person in it? Sheesh.

And a car is a car is a car. Someone points a gun at me and I would give up my car in a flash.

I know this may sound stupid but people in NYC are very
stubborn such as my self. People think that it is impossible to
get jacked in there own pj's. Maybe her brother or husband is some sort of thug or something. I personally would of gave the ****
up and copted a new car. That happened to my pops near models across the street and it a freaking 87 corolla, but he thank god gave it up.
The double barrell shot gun Made him do so.
