Crankshaft Position Sensor

Crankshaft Position Sensor

Ummm. Did a ECU Diagnostic and got 0407, crankshaft position sensor. Then in parenthesis, it says reference... What am I suppose to reference??? I dont get it. Anyone wanna help?

1) Crankshaft Position Sensor (REF) - it's mounted at the front of the engine, on the aluminum oil pan section below the crankshaft pulley.* Scan Tool Code: P1335 / ECU DTC: 0407


Hehe... never mind...

Someone kill this thread before I get yelled at by the scary Mods...

There's 2 crank case position sensors. The code he got 0407 points to the (REF) one. Which is exactly where you pointed out. You answered his question perfectly darksands.
