and it's why Im posting a new thread....Ok so I changed my sig & now everything thread I've posted in is taking forever to load! I mean I've been sitting here waiting & have yet to see what my sig looks like I wonder if it's because the pic is too big? But then again other people have bigger sigs?

it worked just fine for me.. uhhh, try changing the pic back to what it was, or see how fast this loads:

<img src=http://www.ee.utulsa.edu/~mblehm/pics/maxima/sarah.jpg>

once it's loaded on here, it should load in your sig file at the same time.. later posts should be almost instant since the file will then be in your cache..

the maxima.org servers have also been quite slow lately- I guess due to so much traffic.. (or maybe it's still trying to cool off from all the flames in "the post that wouldn't die"..

dumb question.... you know how to clear the files in your cache, right? have you tried that instead of rebooting your comp?

also.. if I ever go to the maxima.org site, it WILL crash my computer in minutes.. I dunno what it is on the main page, but it'll eat up all 200 meg of RAM in this thing and crash it in about 5 minutes.. ???????
