I am debating should I get a 17x8 or 18x8 or 8.5, I would like to go down a size to go down at least 15lbs off my last set of wheels. If you have any pics with a 17x8 rim and a 2inch drop, please post a pic or link me. Thank you

Hey dude..

I have 225/45/17's, @ 8 inches wide. I have b&g's which is a 1.7 drop in the front.

I know it's not EXACTLY what your lookin for but take a look at my sig and these pics, just to give you an idea at least.

And BTW, don't go any thinner than 8 inches wide...I wish caffeines came in 8.5...I think wide tires add a much more muscular look to the car.

BTW, the rims weigh 19.9 pounds each and are cheap as sin.

Here's link to my 235/45/17's with Eibachs. 1.7" front / 1.5" rear. So drop that picture a few more tenths. Should look perfect for you.

This is such a hard decision to make I am just hating it, but as Cumalot told me yesterday hell stay with 18's and get some cheap light 16 or 17s for track usage, I mean I am going to spend more time on the street then on the track and I can really somewhat careless what my car runs at the track, I guess I lost motivation.
But light 17's kick major rear, I am enjoying my 15 inch hubcaps the car feels so much faster when I press the gas lightly.

I'm with on you that. Even though I love the look & handling with 18 x 8.5 Arrows, that is around 30-35pds each, & when I put my stock 16" SE wheels back on, I feel such a big diff, its feels so much lighter & faster but handling still is not as solid though.

I understand both you guys. I am also trying to find some lighter (and wider) 17s. But when I look at how fat the tires look, I am turned off. But man, can I haul a$$ with my stock 15s.

Any body got any ideas for some good looking 17" wheels.

I actually like the wider tire look as long as its not sticking out or anything...besides I think you should keep those wheels

, you aint lying look at Euromaximas 18's I am digging that nice look of 18's, it is the ideal size for our cars. I looked at my old wheels and when they were on the other Max I was like man 18's are very nice. 3 more lbs is not going to kill the performance of my car by much. So I may just wait a bit longer and get the SSR's in 18x8.5, I am going from a 25lb wheel to 16lb wheel. thats 18 pounds off both front wheels.
