im thinking weight reduction is one of the only things you can do without actually installing a performance mod. maybe lower the PSI in your tires so you can get a better launch (but it will slow you down a bit when you get moving). you told me the other day that your mom didnt like the intake so she made you get rid of it. since you have an auto you might want to consider getting Don's VB mod. it will make your auto shift harder and make the car a little quicker. your mom wont be able to tell. if dont want to spend the $ on that i think the only things you can do is try to make your car as light as possible, manually shift it from D1 to D2 and maybe lower your tire pressure.

Agreed, two ways to speed up....add mods or reduce weight...you didn't/can't add mods...so reduce weight...

The Overdrive isn't going to make any huge difference in anything, having it off only makes the tranny not shift into 4th gear (correct me if I'm wrong). He said the Camry V6 has mods, so its not any easy kill, and it especially wouldn't be with friends in the car. The Maxima's a superior car in it's class, yes, but isn't invincible when stock to V6 Camry's/Accords, especially when those cars have a few mods.

Pump your rear tires up to 50 psi and don't put your full weight down on the seat when racing. I do that when flying too.
