My check engine light has been coming on with a speed sensor error for the past month or so, and I can't figure out what the hell is wrong. I have had the sensor replaced, and the light came on within a mile. It does go off every once in a while, but then comes back within a day or so.

A presumably related problem is that my cruise control doesn't work intermittently as well. I'm not sure if this is because the speed sensor is malfunctioning or not. My speedometer works fine with no quirks, and there is no other error on the ECU.

I have searched the forums for a possible answer, but didn't really find one. So now I'm stumped . Thanks for any help.
