door hard to open/close

Hi all...

The driver door in my Maxima has recently become rather difficult to open and close. It doesn't swing as freely as the other doors, and it's hard to close unless I push it all the way with my hand (I can't just swing the door closed unless I slam it). However, there is no squeaking or audible noise. Any suggestions? I assume something just needs to be lubricated but I'm not sure where to look. One of the rear doors is making squeaking and some scraping sounds when I open and close it, too, which I'm sure is a common problem. What should I do for that one? The resistance on that one is only a little more than normal and I think it just needs to be lubricated.

Thanks in advance...

Doug

The rear doors on my Maxima also has the same problem. It doesn't squeak but it feels very rough (kinda feels like it's scraping).

If you want, you could try to lubricate the door sliders, otherwise change the slider.

I personally can live with it
