Low Idling Problem-- NEED HELP ASAP

Ok you guys,

today i check my ECU and got a 03 04 --> Knock Sensor

then i decided to drive my car aroudn for a bit...

but the problem is that before i checked the ECU my idling was fine and dandy-- but after i checked my ecu and reset it my IDling at Drive is 400 RPMS!!!! thats LOW!!!

and at Park its at 550 RPMS... thats also verylow

my car was vibrating and it scared the hell outta me..

I already cleaned the Throttle Body a couple weeks ago -- so it can't be that...

and i know i need a new knock sensor but i dont think it could be that.. cuz i'm pretty sure i've been driving around with a busted knock sensor for awhile..

so what could it be??

anyways to adjust IDle?

I was plan on Doing a tune up later this week at a nissan dealership.. and replace the knock sensor at the NE meet on June 9nth..

but now i don't know.. do u guys think will car will last till June 9nth and the 3 hr drive to Jersey?

Or should i replace the knock sensor when i do the tune up next week?

P.S>-- i already searched

Mine was doing the same thing but wast the Engine control temp sensor. ECU threw me the appropriate code. Part was $17 at O'Reilly's - FIxed it and reset the computer and it was all fine. WHy did you touch the computer for no reason? DId you add new parts? Have you tried to reset the computer by turning the screw twice with a two second pause?

well knock sensor failure for some reason does not make the CEL come on... but my car was running wierd and another .org member told me to check my ECU.. yes i did reset it..

i jujst wanna know why my car feels like its stalling every time i slow down/stop..

i checked the ecu and all that came up was the knock sensor failure

just raise your idle. There is a plastic screw on the back of the throttle body. To find it follow the hose that exits the rear of the intake piping just before the throttle body. Turn it counter clockwise and watch you idle rise.

You must mean Engine "Coolant" temp sensor. Right? I can't find anything in Haynes relating to Engine Control Temp sensor.
