I have a 92 SE 5 speed, for a while (5,000 miles) I have been noticing a whining noise mostly in 4th and 5th gear....noticed at low rpm, and also at high rpm....if im going 70mph....i can hear it....when I know normally all I should hear is wind noise.......a shop told me I would need poosibly bearings, however a shop will tell u u need something even if you dont....not saying I dont....But I know the Redline fluid mite help???? anyone else have this prob??

but iv owned other manual cars that did that...if its full of fluid its probably bearings...but ill let someone with max experience give u a better answer
