House Rules (if any) for your Max?

When you let your friends/family ride in your max's, what rules do you guys set for them?

Mine are the following for my SE ...

1) NO Smoking
2) No Eating (drinks are OK)
3) Watch the scuff marks (well it shows like crazy in a beige interior)
4) Keep the inside clean!!

No food

Noone else driving except for me.

No cigarrettes, joints or blunts, only bowls (no hot boxes or ashes to fall and cause a burn hole)

Even though I don't have a Max anymore, I would still post the rules for my car.
1. No smoking
2. No eating or drinking
3. No dirty clothes or shoes
4. Your trash leaves my car with you in your pocket
5. Use seat belts at all times, even in the back seat
6. No more than 3 people in my car, including the driver

That's all I can think of now.

Back seat passengers wear seatbelts. Ever been in an accident while wearing a seatbelt, and the passenger behind you wasn't? Well, me neither, but don't you think that would hurt??

I'm surprised, almost everyone on here has NO SMOKING as a rule... I smoke, so its not a rule in my car... However, I always smoke with the window down, and don't ash in the car's ash tray. People who get in my car can't even tell that I smoke...

I am a smoker. The hardest thing has been not smoking in my I30. Only if the drive is over 20 min. NEVER ash in ash tray. All windows down for 30 sec. after said cig is finished. Only when I am alone. If another smoker gets in then the story is "I never smoke in my car".

Only real rule is ASK BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!! J/k

1) NO SMOKING
2) NO EATING OR DRINKING, I don't even allow to use the drivethru, they have to get out of the car, go inside and order, and preferably eat the food there. If not, they have to put the food in the trunk, cause I don't like the funky smell other than my own.
3) NO SEX for anyone except me
4) STAY the F**K off the HOOD or TRUNK!
5) NO TOUCHING THE RADIO, DVD, or TV tuner without my permission beforehand.
6) NO DUMBA$$ COMMENTS ABOUT my MAX, period. If you're riding in it, don't own it, you can't complain about it. Otherwise, take a bus or taxi and see if you like it any better.

Forgot to add, sit down, shut up and hold on.

how about "no people?"

i dont enforce such a rule, but does anybody?

i DO enforce no large objects inside the cabin, and nothing in the trunk that does not allow the lid to fully close. i must agree with the others that have been mentioned also

I hate you and your ilk! I suppose that since you "NEVER ash in
ash tray" that you must be sending it out the window that you so
conveniently leave down. Let me guess, when you're done with the
cig, the ashes are followed by the butt. Gosh, that's great. Hope
you don't mind if I toss out my mail as I drive down the road. And
I have those pesky soda cans and beer bottles taking up space in my
recycle bin. What say I just toss them out the window on my way to
work. Oooh, and this will save me a great deal of hassle if I can
just pour out the ashes from my fireplace as I drive down the road.
It shouldn't be too hard, I can just do it with the windows down all
the time so that my car doesn't smell like someone who dumps their
ashes.

USE THE %(*$(& #(*&()#))_#_$& ashtray or don't smoke in your car.
You should be fined $500 (the going rate for littering while driving
here in AZ) for every butt you toss and every incidence of flicking
your ashes just like anyone should be for littering from their car.

Anyone who is telling you that they can't tell you smoke in your
car is either incredibly polite or a smoker themself and can't smell
the stench over their own malodorous hair/clothes/breath. I don't
fall into either category so let me tell you here and now that your
car smells terrible.

I don't really have any rules. As for smoking, light em up! I'm a cigar smoker and I smoke in all my cars. Do the cars retain a smoke smell? Yes, they do. Who cares, these are cars, not shrines.

My ilk... I can't believe that you freak out about a cigarette butt... First off it is probably the most biodegradable thing that you by in a box. Secondly, don't you think we may have some more pressing problems than a freaking little cigarette butt?

I know that ash is a huge problem from cigarette smoke... I wonder how many tons of ash per day are expelled from the hundreds of coal power plants across this country... I'll bet you Maxima does more damage to the enivronment in a year than all of my smoking does... You are an idiot!

wow. My rules are: nothing excessively dirty (frickin' beige interior aghhh! I just spent 2 hours carpet-cleaning my cloth this past weekend! This includes messy food/drink!), don't play with things like the mirrors (you can change the radio station, but don't mess with the treble/bass), seatbelts, no smoking (sorry, my sinuses don't get along with smoke too well), and no littering in the car.

I really hate when people throw their butts out the window on the highway and it hits my car...the burning end can leave a mark. I also tend not to like being stuck in a traffic jam near smokers with open windows, but I get over it. ^_^

I am an idiot for not setting rules, now i have ciggarette burns in the cheap *** thin vinyl door panels and in the back seat cloth. I am not big on rules and even though I ask people nicely, **** always happens.. how the hell do you put 2 big burns into the bottom of the seat which you are supposed to be sitting on, it amazes me how people can be so ****ing careless.

Why don't you take that energy and do something usefull. If you wrote shorter post you could spend more time at your green peace meeting or hugging a tree. If something like a biodegradable cigarette but gets you this worked up you need to masterbate more.
