Were did he go??
Were did he go??
Whelp, I was 5 minutes home from a 10-hour trip back from school and was flying on some back roads. Passed a cop at 70 in a 35 and decided to take off. I knew the roads well. These roads were deep backcountry roads and I hit 120+ and passed 2 on coming cops w/ their lights on, not to mention the guy trying to follow me. I was going so fast that I went to pass a car, downshifted into 3rd and nailed the rev limiter I did loose the back end of the car around a turn over 110mph. Thankfully I corrected it before I completely lost the car in a spin. Nothing like the KYB AGX/Sprint combo. But I made it home and saved myself a a steap fine. For the future, I'm stopping and taking the ticket, it wasn't worth cracking up my beautiful max. But, i must say that i really smoked that cop. He didn't have a chance.

You're really just lucky you didn't kill someone else, or yourself. I can't believe you were dumb enough to post something this stupid...If you do speed in the future, and happen to get pulled over, I hope you DO stop. Your "beautiful max" is not "worth" someone elses life. I don't give a $hit if you cracked up your max. People like you shouldn't have the privelege of driving.

Cool! I'm sure they're going through the video from their in dash camera's and getting your plate number from that. Have a nice day.

Anyways...I always wonder if I would have the ***** to run if I was doing something really bad like that...I don't think that I could do it, but I agree it must be tempting.
Good work
I would never run from the cops, since they can get you for more then you are planning on(speeding) if/when they catch you. For all you know you could wake up tomorrow with a cop at the door with a little warrant with cuffs. Keep speeding
Well hey, at least in Nebraska, fleeing is only a felony offense if the original violation itself was a felony! Consolation!
Its a common fact that people who consistently drive 70 in a 35 don't drive 70 in a 35 three or four years after the point they started doing it. Not unless they happen to privately own the road under the rubber. (I myself as a teen used to go 20+mph over almost all the time. That philosophy got changed quickly with the help of the law...)

lesson learned
i hope you learned a lesson and don't put anyone else in danger while doing something stupid yourself. it's sad that you even tried to escape the cop much less hurting anyone in the process. i hope you don't live near me. a couple of days ago a guy here was driving with his girlfriend and spun out at over 100mph and slid into oncoming traffic. he lived but his girlfriend didn't. can you live with that!

off topic how is the dual Centerforce clutch holding up? Does it suck like 90% of the board says? The mechanic said the break in period on the clutch is 1000 miles not 500. I was tempted to get one only 2 people on the org have had positive experiences with them.

Whelp, I have officially done one of the dumbest things in my life. I was 5 minutes home from a 10-hour trip back from school and was flying on some back roads. the reason he gave up was because:
he knew that you would keep running and once you hit over 110-120, you're endangering the lives of everyone around you, yourself, and the cops, and if you are in a town or where people are around, the cops will just give up the chase because they then hope you will slow down and not endanger everyone around you...if they were to keep chasing, you'd continue to fly and maybe kill someone...it would not be worth it for them to try and continue to chase if they know you aren't going to stop, and you're flying through all the roads, putting everyone at risk

if this is true, thats a good point and tactic unless some people just keep on driving hard.
anyway, the guy's not gonna do it again he says, and he probably realizes it wasnt smart.
lets just let it go
