Improve Base in Bose?

2002 Maxima GLE. Happy with everything but the turning radius and the bass in the Bose stereo. Any suggestions on how to improve the clarity of the sound? i.e. Is it the speakers, stereo, or amps? New speaker help? Can I add an amp?

Also...is there any way to keep the recirc (for the AC) to stay on? Every time I start the car it resets to bring air from outside.

You got bose you wasted money and your gonna have to replace everything to do somthing good. But if you wanna be cheap you can get around it but thats like putting a bandaid on a massive head wound.

I disagree. I added an amp with a 12" sub to my bose system by hacking into the bose wiring and hooking up an amp with high level inputs. Sounds great. Just have to replace those blown mids now......
