Adding another ground to battery question

I read the post about adding another ground cable to the battery to help with dimming lights and bass. So all I have to do is get another ground wire and bolt that to the negative terminal and bolt the other end to the chassis? or am I missing something.

yeah or you can do the same as i'm doing which is get some 0 guage wire terminate put the ends on it the same as the original cable and replace the old one. I think our cars came with a 4 guage ground making it 0 would greatly increase the ground in your car! Doing i this way, you can make the cable longer also.
