I just called budget and they said they are now going to produce MANDERAL Y pipes for our cars

 

Is this old news or somthing? I thought they only produced non-manderal in the past.

What do you guys think, a less expensive version of WSP $300 SS Manderal bent pipe. Sounds great to me.

 

I think its great. Budget makes a great product and a mandrel bent y-pipe would probably make them even more popular. I don't really think there is much to be gained but every little bit helps.
Did Jeff give you a time frame on when they would start production?

They said they would be available at the end of the month as well as some will be shipped with the group deal going on here on the org.

 

Yeah, they did the custom exhaust on my Max....mandrel bent 2.5" from the Y to the Cat to the Muffler. Great stuff!

As a side note, I was shocked at how small Budget was when I was there. Great guys and all, but this is not a huge company by any stretch. Jeff was there, hanging out, aligning Y-pipes in the jig.
