Yeah... its them f*****g gypsies. If you drive around with damage on your car, they wont leave you alone!! They pull up next to you when your driving and start yelling.. "I'll fix your car cheap!" I have dealt with them in the past. I would NEVER let them go near my car. I have seen some of their expert work on other cars, and let me tell ya, my four year old niece could do a better job. Most of them do the bodywork right in the parking lot where your car is at, then use a can of spraypaint to finish it off. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

From their profiles, I would say this is happening in NJ, NY, and CT (prolly the entire northeast)... I guess the bodywork gypsies just haven't made their way to the south yet (I'm in Austin, never seen or heard of such a thing)
Never accept that kind of offer in the street.
The only way to get small dings out for about $100-200 is with paintless dent repair where they use a long hook-shaped tool that they push down between the window and the door skin and push the dent out.
I saw a strange device on an infomercial once - you put a dab of glue in the center of the dent, then use a small frame that pulls on the glued blob and pushes on the door around the edge of the dent using legs. Once the dent it pulled out you pour a special solvent on it to remove the glue. Sounds like a great idea if it actually works...
