RSTB - how difficult

Is a RSTB available for the '02 Max SE? If so, how tough is this to install? Is it a do-it-yourself job if I am semi-handy? How expensive and what type should I consider?

I already did a few searches for this info in the archieves but couldn't really find my answers.

Thank you!

It is the same for the 2000-2002. It is pretty easy except you need a Swivel head for the ratchet otherwise you aint getting the nuts off.

You're going to have to cut holes in your trunk carpeting though. And it will block the rearseat passthrough. b/c of that I think a FSTB/RSB combo would be good enough for me.

Isn't a RSTB only useful when cornering under extreme conditions, i.e auto-xing?

From what I have read... an RSTB adds very little, if anything, to Maxima handling. It seems the rear package shelf and window/trunk frame already do a good job of "closing the box" to eliminate shock tower deflection.
