Swipe Folder List
I have all of my music on a USB flash drive. Since the Maxima does not support more than one level of folders like my Altima did, I have renamed all of my albums/CDs with the artist name, then a dash and then the album name. Example: "The Beatles - Help". I currently have 386 folders which makes it difficult to find the one I want. There are a couple of ways to scroll through this list. First, the single up and down arrows on the right side of the screen will change the selection by one folder. Second, the double up and down arrows on the right side of the screen will change the selection by one page. Third, the Display Commander (the master control behind the shift lever), will also scroll through the list, but just a few folders at a time.
Last week on a road trip, my wife just swiped or flicked the folder list, like you would on a smart phone, and it went through the list very, very quickly. That worked only once. I have not been able to get it to work that way since. Does anyone have any ideas on why this worked once and only once? How do I get that feature back?
