Why did my shop tell me Sprint springs suck?

Just dropped my car to have it lowered and they told me sprint springs sucked. I know a lot of you guys have them and that's why o got them. So have any of you had any problems with them other than the squeaks that have been discussed on the org already?

I have sprints and they don't squeek at all. If you are looking for a comfy ride, yes they suck, but lowering wise, and handling wise, I don't think too many springs compete well. I've got em paired with kyb's so keep that in mind as well.

Probably because since they're so cheap the shop doesnt make that much $ on them, so they're gonna tell you they suck. No problems with mine yet, and lifetime warranty, what else could go wrong.

I'm completely satisfied with mine. Nice drop, and the ride isn't nearly as harsh as everyone makes it seem.(with AGX)

my shop told me the same thing, they said that they are known for poor quality. i don't know if its true but I switched to H&R's just to be safe.

I love my sprint springs. I think they are the best all around spring for the max...they are stiff...but not harsh like coilovers...they have a good drop and handle AWESOME.

Just picked it up a while ago

And it looks much better - I will post before/after pics shortly after the weekend. However, as i am on stock rims, the rear rims looks SOOOO small. I wish it was lower after all that money - 2 inches on a max with stock rims doesn't do NEAR as much as it would for most other cars.

Pretty often, but I've had it up on a lift a few times, and there's no major dmage or even large scrapes...just the front frame beam that is in the middle of the front of the cars underside....and that's steel, so no worries.

My front bumper has scraped on some driveways, but you can't see that damage unlessy ou look under the car, and it's mild.

I like my Sprints.
