FIxing Corner LIght-Stupid Question

Hey All,

I just got into an accident with my 98 black Max- I cracked the larger
of the 2 corner lights, passenger side- THe light is fine all that happened is the plastic part with the screw detached from the light-
I am thinking of just taking the screw off, crazy glueing it back to the light casing and then screwing it back on( seeing as the crack was a pretty clean one)

QUESTION: I know that I need to pry off the small corner light, then
screw in the larger corner light- BUT AFTER I DO THAT CAN I JUST WEDGE THE SMALL LIGHT BACK IN WITH NO TOOLS OR ANYTHING?

Thanks
Mike

Are you talking about the bumper lights?
If so, then you can just wedge it back in, but I would advise that you unscrew the hex and from inside the bumper screw it back in. It'll be more secure then.

THe Orange Lights-question

I am referring to The Orange Bumper lights-

if I just wedge it back in though will it be secure? I guess when I see it, I will understand better- but if I just pry it out without
unscrewgin the hex or anything why do i need to mess with the hex on the way back in

thanks-

You should be able to pry it right out. But sometimes it's harder to get back in, and it might pop right back out. It not very hard to unscrew the hex bolt, and then just reattach it back from the inside.

With my clear corners I tried to just push it back in, but it didn't want to go. It would seem likes it in, but when I backed down the driveway, it came right back out. Just screw it back in and you won't have to worry about it anymore.

While you're working on that you might as well do the fog light rewire, if you have them?

It has the indet from the screw because I removed the standard hex screw. If you remove the hex screw then you'll see the threading of where it was. I don't pop in my lenses, I actually screw them back in. But for the instructions I said to pop them in just too keep it simple.
