Spring/Strut combos?
Spring/Strut combos?
Also curious to know what the most popular spring/strut combos are. Obviously the AGXs but paired with what springs? I'm running Intrax w/OEM shocks but not for too much longer.
Please list any other combos. The poll function only allows for 5 options and I know I missed a few combos.

How was the install and how much trouble do you have adjusting it? Also, can you compare it's performance to the AGX by any chance?
Thanks.

Most popular sprint AGX or Sprint Koni. If you want to keep that nice drop I go with sprint in a minute. I am happy with my sprint look alike setup.

Coilovers are a spring with a threaded sleeve that allows you to adjust them up and down.

B&G springs with AGX's. There both red and I like the color match!
All kidding aside, great spring/strut combo!

That is why I was thinking about getting the Eibach Pro kit for springs, for my 1995 5-spd SE.

I haven't even adjusted the rear shocks at all yet. The Eibachs are much more stiffer than the stock SE springs but they give you that nice drop and the go-kart feel. My butt is used to it now.Unfortunately they're aren't many modded Maxes in Vancouver and I only know of two 4th gens so far that are modded. The rest of the modded Maxes are in the Seattle area. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to ride in someone else's car to form an opinion but a couple of my work buddies thought my combo was soft to their tastes. Go figure!
I'm a near-stock-ride sucker. My H&R/AGX combo is absolutely fantastic. I have AGXs with 15'' 96 SE wheels + Stock springs, and that ride doesn't compare to my H&R/AGX combo.
It even seems like even thought the car is lowered, the H&Rs give a better ride (smooth and stable), thus proving that SprintMax's past claim, "it will improve your ride" is correct.
The wheel gap is very bearable now. I think it's the best compromise if you aren't autocrossing everyday.
