Parking brake is poking my leg
I rarely take my Max on a highway trip, but I drove 4 hours this weekend out of town. I found that the placement of the parking brake is pretty uncomfortable against my leg when I have the cruise on. Around town I have my foot touching the gas pedal the whole time, so I never notice this, but with the cruise on, my leg just rests against the parking brake. Is there a practical way to shorten the lever of the parking brake so it doesn't stick so far forward? I suppose I could just put some sort of padding on the brake when I take one of my infrequent road trips, but I'd like to come up with a better solution than that.
OTOH, I got some awesome fuel economy. After over 200 miles of driving ~60 mph (not an interstate), my gas gauge, which seems to be pretty accurate, still showed almost 3/4 full!
