Struts blown. Searcing is useless

I can't find jack squat about struts. Here are my questions:

1. Why does everyone hate Tokicos? ie: Why are people going to great lengths to modify the KYBs?
2. I know there are KYBs coming out in the 2K3 catalog. What stuts are available now?
3. Adjustable struts? Or regular struts? (Yes, I'm sure I could find this by searching, but I am tired of weeding through CRAP!)

Currently I have Ground Control coilovers with Eibach springs. Someone throw me a bone here......

Cattman.com sells the modified versions on their website. I am having a local shop do the install, and put on H&R's while they are at it

It says that I need to order the 95-99 strut mounts. What if I have the Stillen camber kit instead? Anyone know?

tokicos have few cases with blown rear struts..but they have lifetime warranty...the pain is the re-isntall.

tokicos.....all others req. modifications.

depends on ur need....the tokicos are equal to second softest setting of AGX....so seems AGX has much more potentials. But, if u are not playing around with it...it's a waste.

GC are too much for the stock struts (is that what u have?)

and one more thing about AGX....seems like we all hear about positive things is b/c KYB hasnt been out for 5th gen that long....so assume we are still within the break-in period.

You don't HAVE to order the 95-99 strut mounts, you can modify the strut mounts from your car. All that is involved is grinding down the center circular piece like 2mm. One person even said he had problems with using the 95-99 strut mounts. I plan to have them grind down my current mounts when they install them. If you don't want to grind down the originals, you can get a second set from your local dealership for like $40, that way if you ever sell the car you have the originals. Do a search because someone posted a thread describing the entire installation, including showing the grinding work.
