Took out a Jetta last night...

Well last night was my last night in town before moving to Minneapolis, so I decided to race at our "track" that some of us guys always go to and drag race (a nice long road behind a car dealership). So this guy who drives a late 90's Jetta GLX with CAI and exhaust was out there, so I decided to run him. He's a 5 speed and I'm an auto, and we raced between 1/8 and 1/4 mile, and I beat him by 2 lengths...I couldn't believe it! I guess my auto isn't ALL that slow afterall...and by the way, he is a pretty good driver with a stick, so it's not like he didn't know how to drive...

12valve VR6s aren't much with only a CAI and exhaust >>

If you ever go up against a 2002 Mark4 with the new 24valve motor...then your in for a race...
