Guess whats good as sold?

I'll give you two guesses, but you'll only need one....hehehe. I say as good as since it is still having 'surgery' right now. But once she is all put back together, shes gone to greener pastures. In fact, the buyer left me a deposit today while I was at work. Ah, the memories.............

Nope. Just to be sure I made the right choice, I went by the local dealer and drove a new 2K2 6spd (since I haven't been able to drive mine in close to a month). The car just doesn't excite me anymore. I guess driving the nimble Prelude for a month now corrupted me. That is the car I'm keeping. I know I'll catch alot of flack from most of the guys here, but the Prelude is the car that still 'excites' me.

Yeah that's cool and all.. it's really up to you what you like driving more.

But what happened to the whole y-pipe test fit thing!? Too bad for us eh.

Well, I'm not really in the market now. I've always had the Prelude, the Maxima just took its place for a little while. Trust me, I wont russ-size any stories.

From what I heard WSP rented a 2K2 Maxima and did a test fitting on it. I guess they didn't need me after all.

I can understand you. Sometimes, I have a hard time deciding too. It's an on and off again process.

You're right about the handling. My 4th gen has a few handling mods, but it still can't touch my friends' stock Prelude and Integra GSR. Good thing though is at least they can't beat me in a straight line race. Not yet anyway, them being stock.

If you want power and handling, I suggest maybe a BMW?

I was in your same situation. Coming from my 2000 SE, an equal 2K2 really didn't do it for me. Then I added frost leather and NAV and feel in love again!

I can relate

I need a larger car for carrying people / luggage, but the 240SX is the car I would drive all the time if I had the chance. Do you think I could keep up with you in the prelude ??? Drifting in a 240 is a BLAST! Can't wait to get the 350 in October!

Well, as far as acceleration, the Prelude is a bit faster than the 240. I ran a 15 flat in mine bone stock. My best modded time with i/h/e was 14.43. In the twisties, the 240 might have the RWD advantage, but the Prelude wouldn't be far behind. Its a very neutral front driver than can oversteer fairly easily too.
