For what "grade" of products? The Autophile has some really good deals (quite a bit lower than MSRP), but everything he sells is high end and usually more expensive than most people can afford. (a/d/s, Focal, Dynaudio, Nakamichi, Brax, etc)

thezeb.com has a very good selection and decent prices, and great customer service. cardiscountstereos.com has the best prices I have seen, and ok customer service.

Peter gives everything he sells a manufacturers warranty. I had a Dynaudio driver that was bad and I sent it directly in to Dynaudio, called them, and got it replaced for free.

Dont most of the manufacturers you listed despise internet sales? Not that I do not believe you, but how can he do this? Im not sure on Dynaudio, because I dont move alot of it. Most customers cant afford it/ or dont know what it is. LoLz

I do know for a fact that he is the ONLY authorized Brax/Helix dealer in the U.S. As far as the other brands are concerned, I couldn't say. I do know Dynaudio didn't have a problem with it. And I bought a Nakamichi HU from him as well (CD-700), but never needed any warranty work done. In fact the HU I purchased from him was $1,750 MSRP and I got it for $1,450 (plus no sales tax...the internet is awesome!!) The nearest retail store that carried it was a few hours away and they would not budge one cent off of the full $1,750 price. Crazy.

As far as i know he's NOt the only authorized reseller.....Ampman is also authorized to sell Brax and Helix.... and it's a good site www.ampmanaudio.com. Another good site is www.carmedia1.com.

There's usually a Brax/Helix article in Car Stereo Review and it specifically says The Autophile is the only authorized seller in the U.S. Maybe that's changed recently, or, your other two sites aren't "authorized", but sell them anyway. A lot of online companies do that...I know because I've bought things from them in the past!!!

I bought my Dynaudios and both Tube drivers from Peter and he was great. And he is an authorized internet seller. Ampman as far as I know is also an authorized reseller for Brax\Helix. Both are great companies...

There is no "Best store" basically the best thing to do is decide what you want first, you can do that by hitting brick and mortar stores, and researching, then decide if you want a manufacturers warranty, if so you fine an online authorized reseller and buy from them, if you don't care about the warranty, then buy from the cheapest place you can find.
