Right Driver side window fails and nissan service sucks (long)
It's 11:22 and im in edison, NJ about an hour and a half away from where i live in NY. I have to be home by 12 and im cruising doing about 70-80 with my window down. I go to close my window so i could light a cigarette and the damn switch doesn't close the window. Hmmm...odddd....I tried again and again, checked the window lock and the other windows, everything was normal but the driver side window. I pull over, turn the car off and back on again hoping to reset whatever blob of electrical circuitry that has caused this, no luck. Open and close the door to knock whatever thingamajig is causing this back into place, no luck. Well, so much for my brilliant ideas. I decide not to panic, call my Nissan Dealer (back home) and he says bring the car in on monday. I asked him if i stopped at a nissan dealer along the way, if they would cover it under warranty and he says yes. I pull over to the next nissan dealer, tell the service guys about my problem AFTER the general manager of my nissan dealer back home has called them and asked them to take care of it for me. There was nobody waiting in the waiting room, and the shop was empty, but they kept insisting i make an appointment and refused to even take a look at it. I finally gave up and headed home, late and window open. In conclusion, i can't use my car till monday because my damn window wont close....arghh!!!
thanks for hearing me ramble...sorry for making it so long

I don't know what it is about window motors on the newer cars but I had ALL 4 Motors changed on my 300M only a few weeks/months apart. Thank god it was under warranty. I had hoped it was only a swith but they had problems wth the motors. Ouch.
