I love rollin through neighborhood bumpin
I love rollin through neighborhood bumpin
My parents live in this upity middle class sub division so every time i roll through i get the dirty looks. You would think that i was OJ or David Koresh damn it just music no louder than anybody's lawn mower. So if you got sounds turn that ish up fashow
I just dont want you to have that same
look on your face when one of the "uppity middle-class suburbian" families' little vandalist teenagers at the least, messes up your max because he couldn't jack what he wanted to, or at the worst, rolls off with your car.
That is, if you park outside.
Drawing attention to your car + parking outside + upper middle class suburbian neighborhood = good chance of trouble. Why chance it with the max?

Nothing like advertising what's in your car so people will rip it off. Good thinking. Do you have huge Rockford Fosgate stickers on the windsheild too?

That is a very good point. My friend had his system stolen outside of my house one night, in a fairly well off neighborhood.
The kick is, he had huge Fosgate stickers on his side windows.
What kind of gun laws do they have in SC? Like Texas?? If not, then you will be going to jail for a # of years over a stereo/car.
Or the dudes can just do whatever they did last time but steal your stereo instead.
I remember when all my friends were into car stereos. Almost everyone of them got their car broken into if they had 1/2 decent stuff. gun or no gun.

Alarm, then gun shots
Alarm, then gun shots
Yea, like I allured to, even if they're not smart enough to disable the alarm, more than likely people will still take the time to vandalize, if just for a 5-second couple of swings with the sharp end of a crowbar to the body panels, raking it along the way as they ran off....or, if the alarm went off, in frustration, they could come back another day/night and vandalize with precision. I don't know if your alarm would be able to pick up someone making razorblade cuts on the door panels. etc, etc. just theorizing, but...
Not to mention the kinds of problems you'd have on your hands if you put that .38 or whatever you were referring to into action.
Is it worth it? I mean, I know bumping your stereo in suburbian neighborhoods automatically makes you the 'biggest ballah' in the whole city
, but...

I'm almost done putting the system in my Max. From looking in the window of the cars you can only see a HU with a detached faceplate. The speakers are all hidden. There are no stickers, nothing advertising what's in the car. I'm not one for driving with it really loud, but if you do, turn it down for about the last 1/2 a mile before you get to your destination. Then you don't advertise with really loud bass in the mall parking lot that you've got this really nice system, or you don't advertise in your friends neighborhood, or wherever you're going.

Despite advertising your stereo, it's annoying as hell to hear people booming when they drive by. You are aware that bass travels THROUGH walls and is actually louder inside the home than it is on the street, arent you? It's people like you that get noise ordinance laws enacted.

the whole point of having a huge system is to play it loud heh
but if your in my neighbourhood and u playing that stuff infront of my house at a late period, consider it gone when u get to your car.
around malls and driving dowtown or something its ok

Oh and watch out you never know when some one is going to think to thier self "hmm I wonder if my potato gun is as loud as his bass?" And then BOOM!! you end up with a busted door because that particular person with the potato gun has bad aim.....Not that I would ever shoot a car with a potato gun because it was keeping me up when I had to work at 6 a.m. or anything......completly hypothetical
People just need to learn when its ok to "pimp" the system. Don't drive through a neighbor hood in the middle of the night with it on full volume. I hate when people do that around here. The only times I really have my system loud is on the freeway, in the country, downtown, or in business districts. Your not bothering anybody there when you have it blasting.
